What this notice covers

This notice explains how Grow Engineering Ltd ("we", "us") handles personal information you give us through this website, by email, or over the phone. It applies to enquiries, quote requests, and any follow-up correspondence.

What we collect

  • Your name and the company you work for.
  • Your email address and phone number.
  • The details of your enquiry, including any drawings, specifications, or files you attach.
  • Basic technical information your browser sends when you load this site (IP address, user-agent, referrer). We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

Why we hold it

We use your details only to answer your enquiry, prepare a quote, and deliver the work if you ask us to. Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are:

  • Legitimate interests, responding to unsolicited business enquiries.
  • Contract, where you instruct us to quote for or deliver a job.
  • Legal obligation, where we are required to keep records for tax or company law.

Who sees it

Your enquiry is delivered to our team by email. We use Resend (resend.com) to deliver messages from our website, and standard business email to correspond afterwards. We do not sell, rent, or share your data for marketing purposes.

We may share limited information with sub-contractors, hauliers, or professional advisers only to the extent needed to deliver a job you have instructed.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up if you come back. Records relating to quoted or delivered jobs are kept for seven years to meet tax and accounting requirements.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:

  • See what personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that is inaccurate.
  • Delete your information where we no longer need it.
  • Restrict or object to how we use it.
  • Receive a copy in a portable format.

Email the registered office above and we will respond within one calendar month. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
